p.s. : this blog is written for the last two days.

begin of story :

it was raining heavily like cats and dogs yesterday and since i can't watch tv or use the internet, i went downstairs with nothing on my mind , i felt that i don't know what to do. bingo ! why don't i use my free time do some painting ? good idea, huh ? i took out my painting brushes, poster paint and a few drawing papers which i did not use since after the last day of my spm. hehe .. i don't want my arts skills that i learned last year fade away quickly .. wouldn't that be a such a shame ? ohhh well, i rush to the table, anxiously to sketch. the problem is .. what i'm going to sketch ? hmm .. good question. i have no idea .. it took me about half an hour trying to crack an idea. finally, i went to get my mother's cross stitch magazine for some ideas. then, at the very last page .. my eyes caught up at this beautiful cross stitch design .. it's scenery of a garden beside a waterfall. it was absolutely gorgeous which reminds me of the meadow scene of edward cullen and bella swan in the twilight books, only minus the pergola and the waterfall. haha, okay okay .. i know that i'm quite obsessive with the twilight hype but let me remind you that this is just a conincidence. no need to be mad at me ! okay, back to the story .. i've decided to choose that design for my painting. and guess what ? my mom caught me painting and decided to use that painting for her art class for 11-year old students in 5 red as a sample. she needed it for friday, and that's an order.and i was like 'mama, are you kidding ? this painting can take days to finish if i'm really concentrating.' and you know, she doesn't give a damn about it. so, i guess i had only 2 days left struggling to finish the painting.

day 2 :

i finally finish the painting yesterday, add a few details and touch-ups. here's the final result. (picture on the left)

it was really really hard. i mean .. look at it !

number one :
the waterfall doesn't look like a waterfall.

number two :
the pergola looks funny, as if it was bending like the leaning tower of pisa.

number three :
the stairs doesn't look like stairs.

number four :
the flowers beside the waterfall supposed to have soil underneath it, but i gave up .. ended up disguising it under the waterfall.

apart from all four mistakes, i'm quite happy with the end results. i bet ulfa can do better than that, she makes the best waterfall. =)

well, since i haven't get my breaking dawn yet, mom has been asking me on when i'm going to finish grandma's wuthering heights cross stitch. haha, i replied 'when i feel like i want to .. it's soo boring !' i thought that after finishing breaking dawn and the leftover draft of midnight sun, i could continue back my cross stitch, hehe !
