aren't they're both adorable together ? this most be the most cutest co-stars ever. meet isla fisher and hugh dancy who starred as rebecca bloomwood and luke brandon respectively in sophie kinsella's adapted movie based on best-selling novel, confessions of a shopaholic.

i've watched the movie recently with the gays, eeyna and shab at summit. i totally love it, it is exactly what i expected - funny, charming and chemistry oozing from ms fisher and mr dancy.

but of course, it's not like 100% exactly the same as the novel itself. similar to stephanie meyer's twilight saga, there are a few differences between the movie and the novel.

warning : my description are spoilers both from the novel and movie, i repeated - if you haven't watch the movie, please discontinue reading.

numero uno : becky tries to get a job in allete magazine but ends up working as a columnist as the girl with the green scarf in successful savings in the movie. on the other hand, becky actually works at successful savings as a financial journalist except not under directly luke brandon.

numero dos : alicia is luke's assistant in the novel whereas in the movie, she works in allete's assistant.

numero tres : there's no allete magazine in the novel but allete magazine exists in the movie

numero cuatro : becky wore the green scarf for the interview and she was called 'the girl with the green scarf' in the movie but in the novel, she wore a blue scarf for work and well, dreamt to be titled as 'the girl with the denny and george scarf'

numero cinco : she didn't pay her bills to the bank and reschedule her meeting with derek smeath in the novel while in the movie, becky paid off her credit card bills - 9000 something and a quarter

numero seis : becky got humiliated infront of national television for the debts to derek smeath but she never was in the novel.

numero seite : becky's parent found out about becky's debts on tv meanwhile in the novel, mr and mrs bloomwood didn't know about that.

numero ocho : suze, becky's roommate married her cousin, tarkie in the film. in contrast, tarkie actually has a crush on becky and didn't marry suze either in the book.

numero nueve : the story of becky bloomwood is supposed to be in london, united kingdom but the movie was made in new york, united states.

numero diez : becky didn't get along quite well with luke in the novel, she only has feelings for him slowly after ... well, after becky and luke made up and errr, slept with each other. uh-huh. btw, luke has a girlfriend named sasha but he broke up with her. he did hate to admit that he's falling for becky. however, luke doesn't have a girlfriend - he fell in love with becky since she took him to prada for shopping. ooohhh, prada !

i know, i love the story and the novel soo much. it's just soo exciting and interesting to type in my blog. i love isla fisher - she's adorable, the perfect recipe for rebecca bloomwood - funny, pretty and a total shopping addict. not forgetting hugh dancy - shab said he looks like rob; ohkayy, rebecca bloomwood would not be perfect unless luke brandon exists. hugh dancy really potrays luke brandon better than anyone else. and he's hot - 2nd on my list.
