ohkayy, breathh ! i finally finished my scholarship essay and i'm proud that i didn't get my mom or dad to help me but later for final edit. here's the first draft of my essay ..

QUESTION :
I deserved the scholarship under the 8tv scholarship fund because ...

The fund will definitely help to achieve my goal becoming a corporate financier and reduces my family's financial burden. I may not achieve straight A's in my SPM but that doesn't make I'm unintelligent, I know that I'm a determine person and I work really hard when it comes to my studies - I pay attention in class, did my homework and respect my teachers. Education is so important nowadays and I really appreciated it. Let's just say it is very crucial to get into universities and colleges without getting a good and proper education.

I have achieve 7A's and 1B in my PMR examination and 5A'S (3A1's and 2A'2s), 5B's (4B3's and 1B4) and one C (1C5) in my SPM. After my PMR, I was placed in a science stream class. At first, I intended to become a doctor - paediatrician specifically. However, I found that I have lose interest in pursuing the medicine field. Now, I am interested to join business studies. I want to explore deeply about the field and gain more knowledge and learning experiences about the money-making world. To be frank, I know that I'm still lack of passion of finance since I am new and was not a commerce stream student but I have the willingness to learn and believe that sooner, my passion will develop bit by bit. I am currently applying several public universities and colleges, I am waiting for UiTM offer but it has not been received yet but I don't mind pursuing my higher education in SeGI college. My other options for any business-related studies would be International Business, Investment Analysis and Business Administration/Management.

Besides my academic results, I also got involve into extra-curricular activities in my high school years. I was the Secretary of The Choir Club back in 2007 and got to be the Vice President in 2008. This shows that I'm capable of handling numerous task on tight deadlines. I have also participated the choir competition at Petaling Perdana district level twice and won second place last year. Besides that, I became a school prefect for a year from 2007 to 2008. Being a prefect is certainly not an easy job but it was worth it because I learned to be discipline and boost my self-esteem and confidence. In addition, I was a member in Persatuan Pelajar Islam for one year and member of my sports team. I attend every sports practice last year despite my hectic schedule between juggling my extra-curricular activities and tuition classes. I was also an active member of the Ping Pong Club in 2004. I did participated in my school's yearly agenda known as 'Larian Fourian' for three years. Futhermore, I also get my hands busy with projects and assignments handed out by my teachers. With projects and groupwork activities, I am able to learn to co-operate with my group members, find alternative solutions to problem-solving tasks, managed to work as a team and present it infront of the class.

Well, I am assure that I made my point clear on why I deserved to have this scholarship fund. I know that my SPM achievement did not reach your level of requirement but I hope that I'll be awarded a place and to be given a second chance to make up my mistakes and regrets I did in my SPM. I learned that I cannot change the past and moving on and start thinking about the present and my future. I would be grateful if I was chosen to be the scholar for this 8tv scholarship fund.

Thank you for reading.
