for those who haven't watch this movie yet, you need to get your ass on the couch and start watching on youtube. if you have the dvd, that will be much better.
this indie movie was made in 2004 starring my girl crush (i'm not ashamed) kristen stewart and her on/off again boyfriend, michael angarano. i don't know anything about this movie since malaysia's not really interested in this genre but i do ! astro, do something.
kristen stewart was amazing, great actress in that movie. i mean, for such a young age - it's not easy to potray a ninth grader who got raped and keeping that secret to herself and no one else. not to mention, her ex-friends dumped her and everyone' in school despised her too much. it's hard - i can't imagine myself in her shoes .. except bella in twilight. *sigh* ooh, and kristen taking art classes, do painting and stuff - *swoon* she's perfect. anyways, although she didn't talk that much still, it was a brilliant performance from her, so much emotion in her, she pulls it off like a pro. bottom line is i totally dig this movie ! i even cried at the ending (almost) when she was about to tell the whole truth to her mother. i was blown away by kristen from the start to the end - she did superb ! should have given her something .. like an oscar or emmy or any kind of award for her performance.
for those who are totally clueless about what i'm saying - do check out the movie. i've watched in parts in youtube - it's annoying (i know, hurts me so bad to wait one by one). thank god for google chrome.
